Late last night I received a call from a friend back in Quincy telling me to turn on CNN and watch the unfolding news. I had already gone to bed but switched on and saw the newscasters reporting that the President was going to address the nation saying that the American military had killed Bin Laden. I tried to stay awake but couldn't. This morning I awoke to the news that there were huge crowds last night at the White House and Ground Zero in Manhattan to celebrate this news. We are in DC and I am sure we will see that today when we go to the Capitol. We have other students and faculty traveling abroad and we pray for their safety.
