Dallas

Well, today is our first day in DC, we arrived around 3 pm this afternoon at the hotel. This morning I arrived at the airport 2 and a half hours before my flight, and it was a good thing, it took just over an hour and a half to get through security, with only 2 workers, working an 8 man section of security the line was moving quite slow.

On the plane ride to DC we flew over the Potomac river while the man sitting next to me (a native of the DC area) explained to me Maryland's history. He also pointed out several land marks along the way while we were landing.

After arriving in DC we settled into our hotel and ate dinner at the restaurant of our choice. Tomorrow morning we are to be in the hotel lobby with breakfast eaten and ready to to go by 830 am, it should be an interesting day!!
